Reflections

Have you ever wondered why you were the only little snake like figure to make it to your Mothers uterus when you were competing with hundred others?! Seriously.. think about it.. your all rushing to get to the same place and you were the  ONE that made it!!! So already your  a “WINNER” !! You were fortunate enough to accomplish that before birth… what will you accomplish AFTER BIRTH???

I’ve been blessed to be in such a dynamic space (it’s motivating, relaxing, convenient, cultured) and because if this I’m granted the freedom to reflect!! I wake up, smoke a ______ , sit in my chair, look out the window, absorb the view, and I think about the million things I am GOING  to do in my life….  How am I going to do them?!?!….and most Importantly…. ” What am I going to WEAR doing them?!?!”  🙂 …Reflecting allows me to capture precious moments from the past… allowing me to be true of myself… but also allowing me to look forward to the future!!!

For the last 5 months (July – Dec 08)  I have been unemployed from other employers but employed myself to concentrate on my life, my dreams, my aspirations, my goals, and my happiness!  It was a very spontaneous decision. I had been working at Saks Fifth Avenue for 3 years..(I’ll talk about that experience later… I captured my Styling ability there 🙂 ) and I had maxed out my creativity. I had no more room to grow. I woke up ,went to work, evaluated my environment and no longer was I in it!! My body was there but my MIND had surpassed my position!! At that very moment I started crying and my legs took over!…I walked out the door and NEVER looked back!!  From that day I’ve been able to Reflect and in the process I embarked on EGOTISTIC LLC!!!! My COMPANY!! YAY!!!! Wow the beauty of Reflecting!! I highly recommend it!! You’ll be amazed what you can come up with!! Seeing is Believing!! I see it therefore it exists!! Stay Tuned!! I gotta get back to REFLECTING!!!!

P.S. No these pictures aren’t postcards LOL

I needed that. your reflection has gave me something else to add to my “I GOTTA REMEMBER THAT” list. trust the list is NOT that long bc some things don’t move me in a way where i feel like i need to remember it.

    REFLECTION is good.

Very impressed by your story. I work at MGM Grand, been there for 3 years, I have learned lot about how to run a business and how to make promotions work, but I am all tapped out. My creativity has never had a chance to flourish at the casino (decent money & benefits, but still so empty)….Everyday, I try to give my self that push and just walk away and never look back…I am proud of you, and I know my time is coming!!

Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the good work!!

Wow! That was awesome feedback! Thank You! I truly understand the feeling of being tapped out. Feeling empty is the word. It takes an abundant amount of courage to convince yourself that its time to move on and not look back. However if you want to feel complete and eventually become happy with your creativity you have to take a shot at it but do it with strategy. Yes your time is coming and much luck! Peace, Love, & Happiness xoxo

I think other web-site proprietors should take this website as an model, very clean and great user friendly style and design, let alone the content. You’re an expert in this topic!

  7. Good read … headline catchy … good points, some of which I have learned along the way as well (humility, grace, layoff the controversial stuff). Will share with my colleagues at work as we begin blogging from a corporate perspective. Thanks!
