Zodiac Freak

So my little brother calls me last night with an update on zodiac signs. First let me say that I’m a PRIDE LEO and ANYONE that knows me personally know I take this shittttt extremely serious. Anytime I meet someone new even in the first conversation I instantly ask “What’s your sign?”  The day you were born and the animal or symbol that represents you stays true to your character. This can create a negative or positive effect on your life, your relationships (with friends or companions), your thought process etc etc. I check my daily horoscope EVERY day from the “horoscope” APP on my IPHONE. I LIVE, BREATHE, read tons of books about this subject so if I failed to mention I take this shit serious I DO!!!!!!!!!

Back to my little brother. He calls last night and the tone of his voice was somber. As in he was going to give me extremely sad news. He says “Nicole, your not a Leo anymore.”,.,. I said “huh what the hell are you talking about?” as I start to turn red. He said “There is a new horoscope document out which states that most signs will be the previous month sign” so I almost hung up on him thinking this is an Aprils Fools joke in January. He said its on the internet you can check it out.

I teared up and said “F$$$ that I was born a got dayum LIONESS this can’t be so!!” I did not do my research I went to bed and awoke to check my LEO horoscope because this all sounded like some BULLSHIT  I tell ya sound like some straight BULLSHIT lol. I log onto Facebook and post my Daily LEO horoscope with pride to find out this shit is true. SMH so I said no way will I be a sensitive, insecure. emotional CRAB known as the CANCER! HELLLLL to the NOOOOOO!!!!!  I had to do my research and was thanking the LORD above to discover it effects those born after 2009!

A new report from the Minnesota Planetarium Society suggests that the moon’s gravitational pull on the earth has created a one-month bump in the star’s alignment and that could mean a change in your astrological sign.

Alejandro Rivera says he’s a Taurus but according to the report, he’s now an Aries.

“I’m actually going to be stubborn like a Taurus and not accept this whole situation,” said Rivera, a Los Angeles resident.

Adding to the confusion, the shifting of the earth’s axis has supposedly reintroduced a sign discarded by the ancient Babylonians when they first determined the dates of the zodiac. That sign is Ophiuchus, the serpent tamer, and it falls between Scorpio and Sagittarius.

“It’s not like it’s something new. Anybody 50 years ago or 100 years ago or yesterday for that matter could have and would have known that the stars and the signs don’t match up,” said Dr. Ed Krupp, an astronomer at the Griffith Observatory.

Like most in his field, Krupp believes astrology is a questionable science.

“All of these things that people are talking about are really just the results of arbitrary ways of partitioning the sky, and they have absolutely nothing to do with any influence of the sky or anything with respect to human personality,” Krupp said.

However, the report out of Minnesota has caused an outcry in social media with the term “Ophiuchus” becoming one of the trending topics of the day.

“There’s nothing really fundamental about this at all. It’s simply what people choose to believe in the moment,” said Krupp.

Capricorn: Jan. 20 – Feb. 16
Aquarius: Feb. 16 – March 11
Pisces: March 11- April 18
Aries: April 18 – May 13
Taurus: May 13 – June 21
Gemini: June 21 – July 20
Cancer: July 20 – Aug. 10
Leo: Aug. 10 – Sept. 16
Virgo: Sept. 16 – Oct. 30
Libra: Oct. 30 – Nov. 23
Scorpio: Nov. 23 – Nov. 29
Ophiuchus: Nov. 29 – Dec. 17
Sagittarius: Dec. 17 – Jan. 20

The debate of whether or not these changes affect everyone has created a frenzy. Before you start thinking you’ve lost your identity, this may not apply to you at all.  The zodiac sign Ophiuchus has only been visible on the horizon since 2009 and only affects people born after 2009.

  1. I’m truly into astrology and numerology things. I’d try out virtually everything if it feels right. This Catalog of Human Population web site birth day however wants 3,000 dollars for each horoscope! I am not ready to put out this kind of capital. . Just what exactly do you feel about their theory that men born on the exact same day would be the same? I was born on the 1st of August leap year and my own best buddy as well. I was shocked to see their video clip about us.
