Rent the Runway

The recession is really starting to have its benefits. I was just saying to myself last night that if the economy wasn’t in the state it’s in I would have a pile of items in closet that wouldn’t get worn until next year because I’m still popping tags from last year. Goes to show that I’m really putting my money to useful things when there needed and now you can RENT yes child RENT designer clothes on renttherunway.com

Thankfully, we can keep it civil via Rent the Runway; they let you rent what you want without hassle or potential jail time.

The site’s an online community where shoppers can rent designer dresses ranging in price from $50-$200. After signing up for an invite you can browse through everything from Doo.Ri to Brian Reyes, Malandrino to Matthew Williamson which means that even though you’re determined to make it through the holidays without buying a new dress, you don’t have to wear the one you wore last year.

They’ll deliver same-day in New York City and next-day everywhere else and if that’s not easy enough, they’ll even send you two sizes on your first rental, so you don’t have to worry if your temporary Tuleh will be just right.

WearTodayGoneTomorrow.com has been doing this for almost a year! WTGT loans nationally at 5 – 10% retail values, has had amazing reviews from Teen Vogue, People, Instyle, The Today How and many more. Items arrive in 2 – 3 days, and they carry over 125 of th etop designers including 3.1 Phillip Lim, Herve Leger, Matthew Williamson and more. They’re amazing!
